I’m Dillon Kotzé, a network engineer and web builder from Windhoek, Namibia. I like systems you can trust: clean trunks, labelled cables, tested backups, and websites that just work.
I got hooked on networking the way most engineers do: something broke, and I couldn’t stop until I understood exactly why. That curiosity turned into CCNA-level routing and switching skills, OpenWRT wireless meshes, and a habit of building my own hardware when the right tool didn’t exist.
Alongside networking I run a one-person web studio. Six client websites are live today across Namibia, Germany and Ireland, all designed, built, hosted and maintained by me. Clients stay because things stay up.
Now I’m aiming at the environment where reliability matters most: data centres. Ireland is my first choice, with the Netherlands, Scandinavia and the UK close behind. I’m ready to relocate, ready to work shifts, and ready to learn fast.
Data centres are where uptime is a lifestyle, not a buzzword. Precise physical work, disciplined process, real-time troubleshooting under pressure. That’s exactly how I already operate, from labelled patch panels to sub-10 ms timer sync on a live mesh.
Ireland is Europe’s hyperscale capital and I’ve already built for the Irish market (islanderelectric.ie). I’m actively pursuing relocation: Ireland first, then the Netherlands, Scandinavia or the UK. Wherever the racks are, I’ll be there early for my shift.
